T3 Elm - Fell to ground level. T6 Corsican Pine - Fell to ground level. G8 Corsican Pine X2 - Fell to ground level. G9 Larch - Fell to ground level. T10 Ash - Fell to ground level. T11 Beech - Fell to ground level. T12 Sycamore - Fell to ground level. T13 Ash - Fell to ground level. T15 Beech - Fell to ground level. T16 Oak - Fell to ground level. Reasons for the works: T3 - The tree has sections of dieback within the crown consistent with Dutch Elm Disease. Removal is required, as the tree will continue to decline now it has contracted the disease. T6 - The tree is in a state of decline with poor crown vitality. In addition, there is a Heterobasidion annosum bracket at the base. Given these two factors, removal is required to prevent failure or further deterioration. G8 - Two of the three Pines are in a terminal state of decline. Removal is necessary to prevent further decline and potential failure. G9 - The tree is partially windblown and is currently hung up in another tree. T10 - The tree previously lost a subdominant limb, resulting in a large fracture in the main stem. The fracture has compromised the structural integrity, making the stem unsafe to support the remaining crown. T11 - The tree has a history of major limb failure. It also has Kretzschmaria deusta and Ganoderma australe at the base, and removal is required to prevent basal failure. T12 - There is an extensive decay pocket at the base which has spread throughout. Although the tree has produced some reaction growth, given the size of the crown this is not sufficient to prevent failure. T13 - The crown is displaying signs of decline consistent with Ash Dieback (Hymenoscyphus fraxineus). In addition, there is Inonotus hispidus present on the limb extending toward the road. Due to the progressive nature of these issues and the treeâ¿¿s location, removal is required to mitigate risk of failure. T15 - The tree has a history of primary limb failure and is also affected by Kretzschmaria deusta. Removal is required to mitigate the risk of failure over the driveway. T16 - The tree is in a terminal state of decline. Removal is required to prevent failure, particularly given its proximity to the road.
