Council planning record

T1 - T4 (inc) Lime. Crown clean to remove deadwood. Thin crowns by no more than 20% by removing branches no greater than 100mm diameter to help light levels and reduce oppression, retaining an even density of foliage throughout a well spaced and balanced branch structure. Prune back to suitable secondary branches to ensure 1m clearance from overhead wires. Lift crowns to 4m by tip pruning and back to source, where the branches overhang over the road. T5 Yew - Reduce crown height by approximately 2m. Evenly reduce the lateral spread by approximately 2m around the perimeter of the canopy - to prevent the crown from becoming leggy and sparse and to restore vigour. T6 Oak - Fell to ground level and replant. T7 and T8 Oak - Crown clean to remove deadwood. Reduce lateral branches on the east side (overhanging 155 Thame Road) by removing branch tips only by no more than 2m to suitable pruning points. T9 Lawson Cypress and T10 Thuja - Fell to ground level. Growing up through T9 Oak and are both unremarkable trees. T11, T12, T13 and T14 - Lawson Cypress - reduce in height by 30% to allow more light to adjacent Lawrence House. T15 - Lawson Cypress - Fell to ground level. The garden is extremely well 'treed' and the work outlined above is part of the overall continual management of it to ensure future compatibility with the site, surroundings and usage.
