Tree group 1 - Poplar. Fell. We have 2 Poplars requiring removing due to poor health of tree & posing a threat to the electrical network. This trees are visibly in decline & pose a risk to the OHL with water situated beneath. This also poses a risk to the road here. Tree group 2 - Norway Spruce & Ivy. Norway spruce is to be felled after growing directly under the powerlines, Ivy to be severed off wooden pole as encroaching into insulators. Current plan is for a replacement tree (conifer) to be planted on the same section of land, just situated further back. Tree group 3 - Mixed species (Oak, Ash, Willow, Ivy) - to prune back as per BS3998, ensuring only 5mTTCC is achieved. (tree to conductor clearance).
