Council planning record

T1 - Lime tree as pictured. T2 - Lime tree as pictured. (T9 & T10 of TPO) As discussed with the applicant, they are keen to encourage more light into their property and help reduce leaf mess in the Autumn including the reduction of bird mess from roosting pigeons on a branch as seen in picture 2 with arrow . (picture 2, bird mess branch) suggests health hazard and is causing mess to vehicles. Suggesting to remove the branch back to source. My suggestion to meet their requirements in increase of light and improving shape of trees and to also maintain the trees health & shape - Crown reduce in height by 3m and prune back lateral growth by 2m leaving a broad natural finish all round. Prune off/ remove dead wood. All tree work will be carried out to the highest standard. In result to any Lime tree pruning, this type of work is better than pollarding due to the finish and the size of these trees from a natural finish point of scale. All work will be carried out by qualified and experienced tree surgeon.
