Application overview
T1 mature Cedar deodar, (TPO T8) - lateral failure over the road. Cause of failure appears to be over extension of lateral growth which can be a typical feature of a mature Cedar. Now the tree has lost a significant scaffold branch the tree mass and wind dynamics have been altered which may lead to further failure if not dealt with. Reduce over extended laterals by up to 2.0m to all cardinal points tapering into height to leave a balanced and flowing crown outline.
