T64 - Jubilee Oak - The Parish are concerned with the fact that this tree has shed two limbs this year in a short space of time during recent high winds. They feel too nervous to wait for a 6 weeks application to be processed due to the high levels of activity around the tree. This notice is to reduce the extended laterals by 2-3m to reduce the high likelihood of further breakages. It is also proposed to undertake a sensitive upper crown thin (5%) to reduce the density of the canopy. Phil is aware that the thinning work would fall out of the notice but it would obviously make sense to undertake this at the same time.
