"The tree to be removed is a crack willow that we planted about 20 years ago alongside a weeping willow. It is now encroaching on the weeping willow, which is the finer tree. The initial purpose of the willow was to provide a screen between properties but it has now exceeded this purpose. Regarding the second tree to be worked on, this is outside the conservation area as it is the other side of the stream."
