Council planning record

Mixed deciduous trees Two Yew trees I am applying to remove the side shoots on trees around the boundary of the churchyard and across the centre marked in green hatchng on the plan. The trees are mixed deciduous trees (many of the boundary trees are mature Lime trees) and two Yew trees (circled in green). The proposal is to generally tidy up the base of the trees removing growth at the roots and side shoots up the trunk to the start of the crown approx 2-3m from the ground. At the same time any dead or dying branches will be removed. If approved this work would be carried out by a SODC approved arborist during the dormant season, this work will greatly improve the appearance of the trees and their setting as well as reduce some shading on the boundary.
