Rear single-storey extension moved to West boundary away from listed rear wing of building. Extension to be in facing brickwork to match existing with parapet wall and flat roof behind incorporating flat rooflights. Extension to include 3 no. sets of French Doors with brick arches over to match existing. New glass canopy to link extension to rear listed wing, supported on seasoned oak posts. Existing lean too extension to be altered with French doors and matching parapet and flat roof. Internal alterations to create two new WC's including a disabled WC, and removal of a partition at second floor. Use of ground floor as a B1 office space and basement meeting room with waterproof and insulated internal lining. Upgrade of insulation quite laid over first floor ceiling where accessible. Replacement of existing boiler from basement location under stairs, re-using existing flue. Replacement of air conditioning plant in rear courtyard with new external condensers to rear of courtyard. Internal air conditioning plant to be upgraded using existing pipe runs where possible. Handrails added to steep stepped street entrance. Opening up of existing block coal scuttle to have opening window inserted to provide light and ventilation to basement. Existing basement stair window to be deepened to extent of original opening. Alterations previously proposed to chimneys and flues to be omitted.
