Council planning record

To repoint the front elevation of Dawsons Cottage, as advised by surveyor when house purchased in August 2014. Mortar is in poor state of repair requires taking out of old mortar and repointing with the correct lime mortar. Proposed work will be completed by a specialist heritage stone mason, Rick Hughes. This will greatly improve the appearance of the property and restore it to its former appearance. Thatched roof requires re-thatch in 2016 as it is towards the end of its life. Propose to re-thatch roof with same materials by original thatcher.
