G1 (t1, t2 and t3) - Sycamore (TPO 57 G5) - Cut the three northernmost G1 trees (t1, t2 and t3) to ground level. Do not apply herbicide to the cut stumps; root grafts could translocate it to the retained trees. Manage the subsequent regrowth by re-coppicing on a 5 - 10-year cycle. G1 (t4) Sycamore - (TPO 57 G5) - Remove the crown of the southernmost G1 tree (t4) leaving the stem and four upright primary branches approximately 6 m tall. This will provide the framework for a new compact crown to establish, with the regrowth being managed by pollarding on a 5 - 10-year cycle

All works hereby approved shall be carried out within two years of the date of this consent. Reason: Required to be imposed pursuant to Section 91 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended).
INFORMATIVES: • This consent does not grant the applicant the right to carry out work over property other than his/her own without the agreement of the owner. • All works should be carried out in accordance with BS3998:2010 Tree work: Recommendations and/or approved industry guidance. • Ensure that written permission is obtained from the owner(s) of the tree(s) and/or Hedge. • Please note that between March and August special care should be taken not to disturb wild bird nests which are protected by the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Please also refer to the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000. • For trees with bat potential please note – All bats and their roosting sites are protected by the ‘Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 as amended’ and by the ‘Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations (2017) (as amended)’. For advice, please contact NRW or the Bat Conservation Trust. • It would be advisable to contact any affected neighbours prior to works taking place; and where possible notify the Community Council. • Where selective pruning is required to remove or shorten branches; the amount of material to be removed and the diameter of the pruning cuts should be the minimum required for the purpose. • The overall stability of the trees following the work should also be taken into consideration as well as the natural shape of the tree. • Natural bracing should be taken into account and branch removal restricted to situations where rubbing will result in frictional damage or altered growth patterns that could eventually lead to loss of strength or possible fracture. • Care should be taken to avoid injury to living bark or sapwood.
