This tree is causing damage to the drystone boundary wall. Hamps Valley Tree Surgeons advised to take down the whole tree and adjacent Beech hedge which is also causing damage. T3 on the Site Plan - Sycamore which is causing damage to the drystone boundary wall and limiting the growth of the adjacent (much larger) Sycamore. We propose to take down the whole tree to enable wall repairs and give space for the larger Sycamore to flourish.

Leylandii conifer to side of house - Cutting down to stump of old trunk, no longer productive; 3. Cotoneaster Cornubia shrub to front of property - Cutting down to stump. One main stem of which is now causing potential damage to neighbour's dry-stone wall, and is impacting on shared drive access. Quote obtained from qualified local tree surgeon, who has visited property to assess the work, and I am confident these works will be carried out competently.

The Tree in question is a mature beach tree (double trunk). Last week one half snapped off and landed across the road, causing no injurys but the road was shut until highways agencys cleared it through the night. Upon inspection of the remaining half it seems to have some form of disease between the cavaties, this has also caused considerable rotting in the base and when it snapped out has ripped down through to the roots. This mature tree is approx 80ft tall and subsequently losing over 50% the other day has left this tree unbalanced. In my opinion as a tree surgeon for 25 years the remaining tree needs to be removed. If it was to fall down it would pose a significant danger to life. - Mature beach tree (largest in property) - Removal of the reamining tree

What these statistics cover

These figures describe applications collected by PlanningTrack for Peak District National Park Authority, across all dates currently available. They are a partial dataset, rather than an authority-wide performance measure. The date range does not establish continuous historical coverage.

The approval percentage is approved records divided by approved plus refused records. Pending, withdrawn and unknown outcomes are excluded. No percentage is shown until there is an approved or refused record.
