The works to be carried out are the felling of T3, T4, T5 (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) trees in the Treeworks plan (4TKL Treeworks.pdf) submitted. They are of heights between 4.5m to 7m. All three have been lobbed off at the top and are of girths between 28-40cm. The crowns are small and sparse. T4 and T5 have trunks that do not grow straight. There are two much larger Cupressus x leylandii that would benefit from having more space to grow if the smaller trees (T3-T5) were removed. Additional new trees will be planted at the bottom of the garden with smaller trees planted in the current positions of T3-T5 once they have been removed.
