Application overview
Apple tree in poor condition. Base of trunk is situated on 66 Muswell Road side of boundary. However trunk is leaning heavily towards 68 Muswell Road and majority of the tree is on 68 Muswell Road side of boundary. Proposed works are to fell all sections of tree that cross 68 Muswell Road side of boundary. See Supporting Doc 002 which clearly shows boundary line. Apple tree is in poor condition, signs that large sections of it are dead and could pose health risk should it continue to lean further and subsequently fall (68 Muswell Road have young children and dog). Works would effectively reduce the tree to just leave lower section of trunk (approx. 1.5m - 2.0m tall) as this is the only section which remains on 66 Muswell Road side of boundary.
