Council planning record

T1 - Conifer, most likely juniper, multi-stemmed. Front garden, in the corner of the front boundary wall and the boundary with No. 72 (see sketch plan 01, photo 02), fell to ground level and grind out the stump. Reasons: it is a shrub that has outgrown its position in the front garden. It now obstructs access to the inner boundary wall corner and encroaches on the footpath, and blocks light to the front of the house.T2 - Silver birch. Rear garden, along the boundary with No. 72 (see sketch plan 01, photo 03).Proposed works: fell to ground level .Reasons: the tree appears dead or in severe decline. Its crown has no leaves and the upper branches are dead, branches have been falling from it occasionally, so there is a continued risk of more branches falling into the garden and onto the neighbouring property.Replacement planting: I intend to plant a Japanese red maple in the front garden in the next planting season.
