T1 x Field Maple is located within the boundary of 1 Bean Acre, adjacent to both Ashburton Lane and 3 Bean Acre. It is now too large for the current location as it is believed to once have been part of the hedge. It is proposed that the tree is reduced by to just below the height of the existing hedge and to then trim any re growth to hedge height in effect to restore it to become part of the hedge. The tree sits directly next to a retaining wall and by managing the tree growth this will help keep the structure of the wall intact.
