Council planning record

1) Blue Gums x2: Dismantle fell 2) Taxodium: Reduce back limbs by 2 metre end weight reduction over the historic wall and buildings, shape upper crown, cutting back to the appropriate branch axils. 3) Ash 2 no, against the wall: Dismantle fell - causing damage to the wall. 4) Cedar: Reduce the torn and storm damaged limbs to beyond the wall, extended limbs will be reduced back to balance this side of the tree, cutting back to the appropriate branch axils. 5) Beech, North of the Park, Lifted, possibly following the 1987 storm, now with Ganoderma brackets at the base of the stem owing to the decline in integrity of the heartwood due to a parasitic fungi. To not lose the tree in failure at the base, carry out an approximate 30 percent reduction, cutting back to the appropriate branch axils with a proportionate width. 6) Poplars 2 no smaller with stem decay and damage: Dismantle fell. 7) Leaning Poplar 3 no, North of the park: Carry out a heavy reduction to manage ongoing as pollards, leaving the stems at approximately 3-4 metres to encourage lower epicormic growth. 8) Oak with wind damaged limb: Remove at an appropriate point. 9) Aspen: Fell. 10) Dead Ash by the pond at the entrance: Dismantle fell. 12) Two dead Hollys next to the Chestnut on the driveway: Reduce the chestnut by approximately 30 percent and fell the Holly. 13) Oak in the centre of the park: Remove the broken, suspended limbs at the appropriate axils and raise the crown to allow for a tractor gang mower to work unimpeded beneath the tree.
