Felling Licence 019/3444/2022. This application is in support of SPHN 22/02025/01. The Norway spruce will be felled under this order. The thinning license is to cover any additional trees which will need to be cut to afford access to the Norway spruce. This is particularly the case in cmpt 1a where a greater percentage of MB exists around the patches of Norway Spruce. Rides will be opened up to afford access for forestry machinery and the opportunity will also be taken to remove unstable trees left by the spruce removal and any un-firm edge trees in cmpt 1b. In all instances, operators will select trees in line with good silviculture.
