Application overview
Description: Oak (T1) - Stage 2 retrenchment prune, this should be carried out in early summer 2022, Stages 3 & 4 will follow cyclically. The timing of the stages will depend on how the tree responds to Stage 2. It is imperative the crown it not lifted or thinned and where possible leave the deadwood in situ (safety first). Note - retrenchment pruning is not the same as a general crown reduction, it is highly specialised and the contractor should be trained in this field.
