Description: Crown reduce sycamore by 1-2 metres from the top and any longer low laterals - otherwise a one metre reduction from the remainder of the tree ensuring that a strong growth point is selected of at least one-third of the diameter of the parent limb as per BS3998:2010. The resultant profile should reflect a natural crown shape as closely as possible. Crown lift to five metres limbs <75mm diameter. Remove dead and decayed wood from crown (exempt works) Remove all self-sown saplings in planted area surrounding sycamore that are <150mm diameter when measured at 1.5m height.
