Application overview
Description: Pedunculate Oak - Reduce back the remaining eastern limb with the cavity and decay at the base to leave a 2m stub, cutting back to a side branch. (Reducing back this limb will also remove the decayed side-branch on this limb). Reduce the upper crown by 6 metres in height, cutting to approximately 1 metre below the previous reduction points and reducing the width of the crown proportionally to leave a balanced shape. Remove the partially-broken, dead branch in the centre of the crown. Remove or shorten any remaining major deadwood overhanging the garden to Winser Farmhouse. Sever and remove 0.5m wide section of ivy around the base of the main stem.
